Thrown to the sharks (literally)

Start of work made me feel so nervous and apprehensive. Everything was confusing and alien to us -.- Haha. But we slowly got the hang of it. Realize the back job is so much easier than serving. Omg we'll have to dance with the dishes on hand, i'm so dead when it comes to that. :S Really drained when we got off at 11.30 and the cherry on top was when we had to run like a couple of crazies to catch the last train. Brightest part of the night was that afew of the staff looked out for us and helped us out where they could. :) Loved that.

Blogger's picture quality sucks.

Went to bugis yesterday with yingmei to shop (well, in my case, window-shop.) hahaha. The shops at bugis are getting nicer and prettier for girls clothings. Wooo~ Yingmei bought 2 pairs of shoes because 1st pair comes with 11% discount, second pair comes with 22% off, guess what the 3rd pair came with? Yeap, thats right, 33% offer. hahaha. Its pretty hilarious. The salesgirls were from china and they kept playing with this really loud rubber toy chicken. When you squeeze it there's a really loud annoying 'chicken' sound so they kept doing it in their customers faces T-T Apparently they assumed that this would be the best way to attract buyers. (Y). After that we set off to junction for lunch @ the foodcourt but got held up by two girls wanting to do a health survey that took "Only 5-10 minutes, really! Just alittle while!" but in the end it felt more like an hour, really. After they pulled us along to their office's headquarters, we found out that they were promoting herbal life. How quaint. I love their weighing machine, though! Found out that i'm under-exercised. :( and my bones aren't heavy enough. Which means i'm gonna have to start drinking more milk. Other than that i'm pretty healthy! ^^ After the gruelling survey whereby yingmei started being brain-dead halfway through and left me answering all her questions (lol), we finally got to gulp down food. aaand then we decided to call Libs out. Haha. He made me laugh like mad for the rest of the day -.- I want those shoes at rockstar! o.o Cute stuff. I might buy libs the striped girl tee he wanted, for christmas. Haha! The scarf that comes along with it'll be mine, to use as a headband (Ym's brill idea). The day ended with a frolick smoothie. We like.

Hayley looks better with red hair but blonde is pretty cool. Oh-so-boring. Starting work this friday, I DON'T CARE, MUM. Until the 7th, at least. Haha. When the moolah starts rolling in $.$ Going to bugis tomorrow, maybe i'll buy more badges to make up for my lost one. Awww but i loved the "fussypot" badge and its lovely blue colour. :( So sad. I stuffed too many things in my bag and i guessed that made the pin pop. Shucks. :S Lesson learnt.

This few days have been hectic, everyone's looking for jobs, going out, interviews. I don't feel like blogging much anymore :( I don't know why. Everyone's telling me my blog's dead. Well... hahaha. Ooooo i just saw rugby on teevee. Okay random. Is there another word for random? I feel like its being used too much. I borrowed alot of good books today, yay :D Alpha by Lisi Harrison's already on loan (by yours truly). Can't wait to jump in. I realise i need more clothes. That's hardly a surprise, though. Girls will be girls. i want to get high-waisted jeans from River Island, that's the only place i've spotted selling those! If anyone's seen them anywhere else, tell me please. Don't go and buy them yourself only ah. Lol. I've learnt that raspberry soda smells like barf when you spill it on clothes or bags. Its absoloutely disgusting. :S

*I think that when you want something, you've to go all out for it. Don't just sit at home on your butt and expect people to do things for you. Use some sense and take some initiative.
